The USA rivet bands are out there for sale, more so in the 19mm size than the 20mm size. You'll find more for sale without the stretch links so this band, in what appears to be excellent condition is a nice find. I would place the value from $600 to $700. If the band was 20mm version, the price would be significantly higher
Forum member Tudorman would be the guy to check with for an accurate appraisal as he has sold a few of these in his day!

Yes it is in great condition. My father got it in 1979 with his watch for an extra $25! He really never wore it because we're Greek, and hairy, and that band rips the hairs on your wrist out! |

Nice band for a Daytona, Air king, Date model etc. The Swiss made ones tend to bring a bit more than these. IMHO the current market (19mm) is paying $250-$400 for them. I base this number on the dozen or so I have sold and am selling currently.

The 19mm is the killer on that peice, at 20mm you'd be beating off buyers IMHO...

So you agree on springer's assesment on value around $600? I had placed it on ebay and it sold for $350 but the buyer never paid. His loss I guess. Another poster said it was only worth about that much. I never wear it, because of the hair pulling issue, so I figured I'd sell it to help finance the purchase of a used Explorer II or sub. |

As my friend greekbum noted, most sell for around $300, some more, some less - depends who is bidding and how bad they need it. Due to the great condition of your band, it should sell for more on ebay and personally, I wouldn't think $500 or $600 is out-of-line. Then again, it is only worth what the hammer closes at on ebay.

worn and molested stretch bracelets sell for about $400
Yours appear to be in mint condition I sold a similar 20mm stretch bracelet the other day for £700 Anything mint/nos fetches a premium

I'm still learning about vintage Rolex prices, but I've noticed the cost of bracelets are all over the map. I picked up a vg condition 78350 I needed, for just over $300.00. Apparently, THAT was a bargain. I sometimes wish I had a cheaper hobby.

partly depends on the ends as well and what it was actually made to fit., the USA ones can have terrible links that are ill fitting to almost everything :(
one of the other issues with old bands is the wear they have had , especially in the bits you cant really see, which is why i like to get mine refurbed mostly. i just sold a mint one yesterday, that had a full overhaul by michael young, and was fitted with nice 571 end links supplied by Rolex to be used on a daytona ensuring a nice fit ..$750 |

Again, so nobody is confused here, 20 mm bands sell for substantially more than the 19 mm bands. And contrary to other opinions, I have C&I bracelets on most of my vintage Rolexes, and personally, I think they are great bands - my daily wear 16750 GMT wears a 1967 C&I and it fits and works wonderful.
