Joining the 116610 Club!
After much thought and deliberation I've decided to trade my 14060M Z serial (non COSC) in for 116610. It was a tough decision but I'm a one Rolex guy and with the modern upgrades and my desire for a date I decided to make the call. I've been a part of TRF since prior to buying my Sub from an AD back in late '07 and you guys have been a wealth of information (and also great at selling the virtues of the updated Sub)!
I connected with DavidSW this evening and decided on a gently loved SubC and my order has been placed and I hope to get the watch in the next couple of days! Going with David was a no-brainer based on the awesome feedback regarding his services and the way he conducts business. He's been super responsive to all of the questions from a noob like me and has provided a high level of confidence as I send off my watch and money to him! As sad as it is to say goodbye to my "old school" 14060M I'm comforted by the idea of being part of the 116610 Club and enjoying the modern touches of the newer Sub! If I ever decide that I want to grow from being a one Rolex guy I have a pretty good idea of which watch will be the 2nd one in my collection! Cheers guys - I'll post pics once I have that awesome SubC on my wrist!

I can't wait to get that SubC on my wrist. Should be coming in the mail tomorrow from DavidSW, can't come soon enough! In the meantime my trusty old Speedmaster is getting some wrist time.

I just got my subC from david, great guy to work with and took time to answer all of my questions. She is beautiful now if I can only figure out how to size the bracelet correctly
