what would you choose and why?!? SD or GMT coke?

What watch would u pick? Given that you dont dive and you dont need the second timezone feature...

If you have a good picture of the watches mention above kindly post it too...

Thanks

My brain tells me it should be the coke, but my heart would choose the SD, as in Sea Dweller.

Hmm...neither. Of course, thats based on your given that I 'don't dive or need a second time zone.' In reality, I already have the GMTII Coke, so, of the two, I'd go with the SD! And I do like that watch!

So, with your stated lack of need for either of these two specific tool-type/sport watches, why not investigate the several other Rolex models that are offered? I'm developing some serious love recently for the old school, 36mm black Explorer I - IMHO the perfect everyday, non-specific, beater. Luck in making your choices

It's hard to argue with that logic.

i think of these 2 i would lean towards the GMT coke. i like the sea dweller but it reminds me alot of my sub. And i have never owned a GMT before and the coke is a classic

Exp36 sounds like a great choice if you only need to tell time.

Neither sounds like you do not need the watches for their stated purpose

Well perhaps you are describing yourself, I use my watches, I dive/swim with them, time things with them, wear dress watches for dress occasions . . .

Your thread asks which watch would a person pick, based on your conditions I game my honest answer

This is a no-brainer. Get the GMT Coke and then get the all black bezel and the Pepsi bezel. You will have 3 different looking watches compared to just one.

I got the GMT Pepsi and then acquired the Coke and all black bezel for a 3 in 1 special watch.

Can the SD do that? Nope

Coke!

I'd get the Coke.

While the SD is an awesome watch, the Coke seems more versatile to me. It has the sporty looks of a Rolex without being too common.

There is just something about the deep-red and black together.

Both watches rock!

GMT might fit under shirt cuffs a little easier-if that's a consideration.

Love the SD though. Would be tough to let it go if I had one.

I would choose the GMT as I have a sub which is close to an SD in a way. The GMT has the time zone versatility as well as being waterproof enough for me.

GMT. The extra depth rating of a SD does nothing for an everyday watch but make it thicker. The GMT with the changeable bezel inserts and 24 hour hand is much more the "everyday wearer", IMO.

My vote goes for the GMT Coke. I actually prefer it over the pepsi.
