Patek Philippe Aquanaut

Hi,

I am looking for a second-hand/used Patek Philippe 5167.

Any suggestions on where to find this other places than Chrono24.com?
The supply is not that high on the site and they seems relatively high priced on Chrono24 compared to what I can read here in the forum that they are traded for and also compared to the price of a new one. (I read about one who expected to find one between USD 10.000 and 15.000 - is this too optimistic?)

Thanks

Rgds

Great choice and one you wont regret

But no chance of finding an unmolested 5167 for the money you mention

I'd shoot a note to davidsw to see what he has in terms of brand new and also preloved

Mint or brand new should set you back about $18,000ish

Can see you're in Denmark, last time I checked Scandinavian prices a 5167 was about $25,000 preloved!!!

The 10-15k number may have been for a 5065 Aquanaut.

I've noticed lately that 5167s seem to be in short supply while demand seems to be picking up. That'll make it harder to find at cheaper prices.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll love the 5167 once its on your wrist no matter the price.

Considering a full bracelet 5711 is very low $20s, anyone else think that $18k for an Aqua is really pushing it for that model?

Supply and demand

5167 is a hotly contested piece these days

You should be in the Low 16K for a used 5167 and right at or under 17K for a new one.

If a trusted seller here can't source what you want, try Capetown Jewelers. You can find them online. Marcus is a great person to deal with if one of the TRF guys can't find what you want. When the bug hits, I come here first and then if no luck to to Capetown. They have a lifetime warranty on most watches. I am not affiliated with them in any way but for being a customer.

A 5167 on rubber is more like 20k new from an AD in the states... And I've been seeing them around 17k for LNIB... Price does fluctuate with demand and they seem to be a hot piece these days.

I know my AD can discount the Aquanaut but it hasn't been as big of a discount that it used to be since the supply doesn't seem to be there.

Just priced it two weeks ago for a friend. 16.3k for Used Mint, 16.8K for new with your name on papers

You won't find a used one in good condition with b&p under $16K these days, so then you might as well buy a new one IMO.
