Very cool video B and clearly why only an authorized Patek watchmaker touches my Pateks!
Cheers and Happy New Year!

Great video.
I will never buy a Patek until I am sure that I can afford the service costs. The important thing to remember with service costs is you spread them out over 5-6 years. Put £20 a month aside and when the time comes you will be ready. The only thing that scares me is the odd story of people getting £10,000+ service bills. That would definitely lead to me having to sell my watch. |

- you have a piece which is totally messed up. In that case most other brands wouldn't even think about a service, they would tell you to buy a new one - you own a 1 million dollar watch , than a 10K service won't be the problem ;-) In fact these services are not expensive, you can find them on the Patek website http://www.patek.com/contents/default/en/costs.html CHF 800 ( about 500£ )for a mechanical watch like a 3 hands Calatrava, Nautilus, Aquanaut How much does Rolex charge for a submariner ? Probably about the same !

Good video.
I somehow don't think "Bobby," the local watch maker, can do quite as good a job. |
