We have the same taste George, I've owned a 2254, and I'm waiting for my SM 300 conversion to come back from Rikki's as we speak!

I've been watching for a vintage 300m and when this big triangle came through in good condition I couldn't pass it up. Now I am looking for a 2998.

I really do like the vintage SM300. So many frankenwatches floating around though I have really been afraid to buy one. That one looks very nice.

There are a ton of fakes out there and it is scary. This one I had to get looked over by a few people but it seems to have no relume, correct crown for military style, pin holes are present at the 12 and 6 marker, no stubbies, open 6 and 9 letters, triangle marker is correct distance from Omega, white date box, correct flat "A" top caseback and the bezel is correct for it's time frame although the flat "4" are the most commonly seen. I still have to get it opened up and run the serial through Bienne but overall I think this one is a keeper

If you need help in looking over a vintage 300m I know some people that can help.

I think the faces on both of those are stunning.

Very nice indeed. I love my 2254 and someday it will be as classic as the 300 since its been discontinued. Time is on my side. Your 300 is a real looker, gotta love vintage.

Very very nice. I've been half looking at the 300 myself. A beaut. Both are actually
