Sorry Mike I don't think I answered you question earlier because I was too busy drooling / distracted by your pic! I got the Black Dial just like yours!

Great choice. This is my favorite 18k sports model. Just looks so good in pure gold. This one is still many years off for me. Congrats!

Why not add a pic or two?

One of my all time favorite Rolex references! ;-)

Congrats OP! Early welcome to club 718!

WOW! That is beautiful. Does the PCL scratch easy on this watch? I have a SS GMT 2c and I find very few scratches on my PLC and mind is 3 years old now.

That pic's after two yrs of regular use so in my experience it's not that bad.

Congrats Chaching!

You've certainly picked an outstanding watch to go gold with. I hope you don't have to wait too long before its on your wrist.

Mike/Kilyung, Sam/Fremstar and Patrick/PSV: super photos!!

Congrats on the solid gold Rolex! Rolex makes a great gold watch, the gold doesn't scratch as easy as it would seem, but it will eventually scratch. Just enjoy the scratches and when you send it in for service in a few years they can make it look good as new, so no reason to worry.

GREAT pic with the gmt too. Huge congrats to you!
