AP wrist shots

Can I request AP owners to show some wrist shots of their AP's? Particularly AP RO 41mm and your wrist size? I have a 6.5 wrist with 2 inches flat on top and was wondering how it would wear on me. Currently I wear a 40.9mm IWC Portuguese chronograph and it seems like the perfect size for me but maybe I can still go up to the Port automatic which is 42mm. Never tried on an AP though... Besides, you guys can have the chance to show your AP's here. :)
Thanks in advance. Hoping to be an AP owner one day.

You'll have to try it on it yourself.

It is a very comfortable and gorgeous watch.

The bracelet and dial are superb.

Good luck with your decision - you won't regret getting one.

i'm loving the black 15400! Has a sporty feel to it.

Judging from the pictures, It seems that the 15400 looks more comfortable on your wrist than the SUBC.

Nevertheless, both are superb pieces.

:)

Both are comfortable, but the SubC is more comfortable (for me) because of the narrower bracelet and the quick adjust in the clasp. The SubC is actually about 10 grams lighter as well.

Here's my black dial 15400 as well as the diver. I've got about 6.75" wrists. The Royal Oak bracelet is so comfortable and beautifully designed/crafted. It should be an easy choice for you!

Nice Diver! I am looking to take the jump into the AP world with a Diver. My wrist is just shy of 6 3/4", but more rounded than flat. How thick is the case of the Diver? How comfy is the case and rubber strap combo?

Beautiful shots, all. To the OP, attaching shots of my 15300 and Diver. My wrist is just over 7" but it is relatively flat. For the RO case, I think wrist shape matters quite a bit. It has a wonderful bracelet and a nice, thin profile. However, the out to out dimension of the lugs on the 15400 can sometimes leave people with more rounded top wrists having some difficulty getting the perfect fit. Your description of your own situation leads me to think it will work well for you, but for a piece like this, I would recommend trying it on to be sure. Somewhat counter intuitively, the larger ROO (especially the 42mm ones) on straps will sometimes fit a smaller wrist much better than people expect. If possible, go to an AD and try a few different ones on. They all far exceed pictures in real life, and you might find that a few other models grab your attention.

The Diver case is just over 13 mm thick vs 8 mm for the 15400. Like everyone has said here, you need to see the Diver dial and case in person to realize how gorgeous it is. I absolutely love the rubber dive strap. It's a bit more rigid than the Panerai rubber but it both looks and feels great. Go for it!

You shouldn't have any problems, especially with a flat wrist

my wrist is about 7 inches to give you an idea

I have a fairly flat 6.5 inch wrist. I felt the 15300 worked better for me than the 15400. I think it is mostly a matter of personal taste though.
