Where can I get a cyclops in the UK or DIY
I own a Tudor THC and love the picture of Dans with the cyclops but I'm struggling to have one fitted in the UK. Any suggestions on who can do it or is it a possible DIY job ? If you think it's possibly something I could tackle myself where could I source a cyclops ?

Hope you don't mind me using your picture Dan, but I think the cyclops at the 6 o'clock position looks like it should be there, factory fitted as you say !!!!

You're right, it should have been there as per the iconic beauty it pays homage to,
Dan's modification is the final brush-stroke to a masterpiece, simple yet so effective I am sure Dan or one of the guys will be along to advise shortly |

I had one fitted to my THC also. Originally bought a generic cyclops and UV glue from Esslinger. Was going to do it myself but I chickened out and took it to my watchmaker. He said that the Esslinger crystal was mineral glass and would be way more prone to chips than sapphire. Fortunately, he had a bunch of Rolex sapphire crystals and we fitted one of those instead. So might want to ask at your AD if they have a watchmaker on staff. I love the look, by the way. More like the original, it balances out the Tudor shield at the top of the dial, and the date IS more legible.

The cyclops really adds a 'vintage look' synonymous with the 703x Tudor Montecarlo's.

I had mine done vertically - my watch maker salvaged a cyclops from aan old rolex sapphire. he actually used a ladies size one. I am very pleased with the result.
