AP Novelty FC owners

Hello TRFers,

For those of you owning the AP Novelty FC I have a few questions for you.

How does it hold up?
Do you like it so far?
Does it ever gets boring due to its all black style?

Last but not least, AP Novelty FC or AP Novelty SS?

Thanks for your much appreciated inputs!

I've only had mine for a couple of days, but no, I don't anticipate growing bored with it:

I believe that it was our very own Ed who first noted how remarkable forged carbon appears in sunlight... He was right.

Regards,
Adam

PS - My preference, as evidenced by the vote cast with my wallet, is for the Diver; personally, I think that this is the best showcase for the material yet (i.e. in a purpose-built dive watch, where the lightness, strength and non-corrosive/conductive properties are truly appreciated).

I like the huge chrono pushers on the Novelty, though I have to say the yellow streak within the Diver really helps with color variation.

All I can say...FC has such a unique look and appearance plus it has a vibe like no other watch I've owned,
1. Yes it holds up supremely well.
2. I love it so far..
3. Each day it throws up a different look in different light. And never fails to amaze
4. FC novelty over SS every time!
Hope this helps in your decision making

does the carbon goes brittle over time? will exposure to salt water significantly affects the carbon endurance?

I have the Novelty 44mm FC. Its amazing. I wear it daily. Never gets boring. Its classy and definitely not flashy looking. I don't know about salt water and Carbon but I don't think it should be a problem since they have it on the diver!

FC is just perfect!

Here is mine:

Wonderful shots! I am really torn between the SS & FC, been mulling over it for weeks now.
