I don't like it JJ, I think they have made a big mistake with that model. I love the vintage Prince line and wished the new line reflected the old one more.

Sorry, you must have misunderstood my previous comments.

How can you compare that monster with this?

I agree with Adrian

We both saw some amazing Princes in that vintage Rolex place in Burlington Arcade when we met this Feb.....it has the biggest inventory of vintage Rolex in the world and many many Princes. You just cannot compare the soul less bling of the new Cellini Prince to the classic beauty of the old ones.

We saw some amazing Princesses as well but that's another story.

...........................and a grumpy old cow in one of the major watch shops.

This is the shop in question. It's an Aladin's cave of vintage Rolex.

Oh. My. dear. God.

You'd think that Rolex would have known to stop after the TOG, but nooooooooooo, they just HAD to come up with that gaudy dial for the Prince.

Nah, you're not at the vintage stage, Adrian - more like a classic!

Know that shop well, Adrian. I go by it every time I'm in London. Always like to see what "new" old stuff they have in the window. Never been in because the prices there blow me away. I mean, the numbers look about right, but then I have to double them to translate them into US$. And that's what hurts.
