Diver's Lume

Truth be told, it is the weakest point of the watch ... perhaps the only weak point.

It is fine and adequate, it lasts all night and so on. Not a jab at the Diver ... just an observation, comparing with others from Rolex, Seiko or Panerai for example. It is simply not as strong.

Used to own and yes, compared to other sport models (Rolex, Omega, Panerai, Breitling, Ulysse Nardin) that I have owned I found AP's lume to be the weakest.

The diver does a little better than the 15300 and 15400...

But I miss mine!

Yeah, I've noticed a much quicker drop off in lume intensity vs other brands. It could also be applied better... kind of rough looking. Of course I love APs best in sunshine.

Yep, odd that they neglect this detail.

That's what a strong Surefire and a 30 seconds exposure + some Lightroom would do for you :)

That has to be the brightest lume shot of the Diver I have ever seen, great shot!!
My Diver lume gets me through the night no problem, but agree it doesn't set me on fire with its brightness. It does look good going from a sunny day outside to a shaded room/bar, gotta love day lume!!

Yea...the lume definitely doesn't last as long as my Rolex Sub. But, then again, the beauty of the watch is best appreciated during the day. Hah.

I agree, the lume is quite weak being a diver's watch. I remember how my white rubberclad was glowing...

But it doesn't take away the awesomeness of this piece...

I have a PAM, I might do a shoot later :).
