Thought I'd wear this beauty today!

Gotta time it out after service. Ok, I guess I have more than 2 watches

I really enjoy wearing this one now and then

I'm still wearing this one this week

I'm starting to get a bit concerned that I haven't gone back to the GMT. You don't think the Breitling has replaced the GMT as numero uno, do you?

Nah, it's just the novelty of all those complications that is still intriguing me. And I'm now running a test to see if the fact that I have minimal wrist motion during the day is affecting the power reserve.

Man that's a great looking watch! I bet you'll wear it more than the GMT for another week or so.

I really want this model of DJ, but just can't bring myself to spend the money on it.

Bruce, if that bottom DJ had arabics on the dial, it would be perfect!

Au contraire, John. It is the Romans that make it such a beauty. But then, I'm a sucker for the Roman dial DJs. They were the first two Rollies I bought.

I agree Ed! I used to only like the sticks, but the more I looked at this roman dial the more I loved it. Just suits that watch, IMO

But you see Romans on DJs all the time. You rarely see a DJ with arabics!

Are you looking for rarity or beauty? Just because the Roman dial DJ is more common doesn't make it less beautiful. Perhaps the arabic dial is not as common because it is not as beautiful.

But this is what makes this hobby so much fun... there's something for everyone. To me, on the DJ the arabics are beautiful. I've never been a fan of Romans (numerals, not people from Rome ).

That is an all time classic, Bruce....virtually instant recognition of it being a Rolex almost anywhere.

A guy at MOTAT has the exact same piece but with Roman numerals instead of the stick markers. Looks good.
