Fall Foliage

Beautiful fall weather here in southern New Jersey.

This is my favorite spot on our property.

A glass of single malt, and a crisp autumn sunset.

Anyone else have great fall colors?

We had a great October, I'm a lousy photographer so i didn't take any pictures but everything is past peak here.

Our Criollo stallion with the trees behind his field last autumn...

This year the leaves aren't as impressive but the weather has been much better...

Very nice...sitting back in your chairs by the lake must be very relaxing. And the colors here where I live have been great this year as well. A walk in the woods always sets my mind at ease.....

Hi Paul. I was in Lake Placid and went the other way, thru Watertown.
We're planning on going back next year and thinking we'll come back thru Old Forge. I'll definitely call you!

Fantastic pictures and colors everyone...I do enjoy Fall but being a Horticulturalist I love to see, watch and grow all plants. But of course in the the North, Fall, is a time when plants begin their Dormancy by dropping their foliage and getting ready for the cold and snow of Winter.....

What a beautiful spot you have. Very serene. All of the leaves here in northern Minnesota are on the ground. Many smaller lakes and ponds are frozen over. Here are the trees last month on a property we looked at purchasing.

Great shots everyone. I took this a couple of weeks ago when the colours were starting to change.

Here in Central Queensland it might be summer and fine weather all year round but those photos show what we are missing. Nothing like that here. Countryside brown and washed out with intense light most of the year. You have to get 1000 klms away into tropical North Queensland or the Far Southwest to see any real colour. Those sort of North American scenes always blow our minds.
