Here's an idea.

Just a thought. With all of scattered all over the globe, I thought we could all have a holiday drink together. How? Simple. We pick a day and time when most of us can log on and we all have a drink while we're logged on. Just post away like normal, but kind of celebrate the season together. Wheather it's beer, single malt, wine, egg nog or soda or milk if you don't drink alcohol. Whaddya think? Good or bad idea? I just thought it'd be nice for some friends to share some holiday spirit. My uncle and I do a similar thing called dial a shot. He lives 1500mi away and we do shots together over the phone. Please let me know what you think.

Great idea, Paul....I'm all for it....only thing is you guys would have to look at the time difference factor. Remember that I'm like 21 hours ahead of your west coast and then, moving from west to east, you can deduct one hour as you go along. For e.g., I am +19 Texas and +18 New York.

Go figure...

If you really want to know what works for me then it's between 6 to 7.30 am in the mornings and 6 to 8 pm any evening. On weekends, I could log on at a pre-arranged convenient time suitable to most of you guys!!

How about 10:00am EST? Just an idea. If this doesn't work then we can change accordingly. Just thought some people may go visiting on New Year's Day and this may be conveinent. Or how about 9:00pm EST? These are just ideas guys. Let's hear some input and other ideas as far as what works.

I think either of those times would work for me, Paul.
We have a New Years Day tradition of having a dim sum brunch at a local chinese restaurant and then spending the afternoon at the Washington, DC auto show. But either time you suggested should work.
