New York City

I'll be visiting NYC for 2 weeks from this weekend. It will be my first trip to USA and the 24 hours flight is rather challenging even to imagine

So besides visiting AP and some other watch boutiques in 57th Street, is there any other recommended watch places I can visit? Also any suggestions on what are the must-do activities in NYC?

Appreciate any input!

Cellini at the Waldorf has a lot of nice watched crammed in a fairly small space (ALS, JLC, AP, Richard Mille, etc.)

Stopover in SF, It'll be my pleasure to host you a few days.

In NY, do Ground Zero, Statue of Liberty, see a couple of shows, eat great food, Walk the Brooklin bridge, see an American football game, basketball at the Garden. Many tourists things are actually great for first timers.

Have fun Wayne.

100% go to the Top of The Rock - way better than the Empire State.

Buy the night and day ticket and do it twice - it's awesome.

I also had the best meal I have ever had here - well worth a visit as a treat:

Thanksgiving Day Parade?

Nope, you will miss it, my bad.

SoHo, Madison Avenue, Statue of Liberty, Freedom Tower, Empire State Building, Meat Packing District, Broadway (for some plays and musicals), MoMA, the Metropolitan Museaum, Museum of Natural History, Guggenheim, etc.

Have a good one Buddy!

So many nice NY watch boutique suggestion. The temptation is going to be great. But lucky you are bringing your "Financial Controller" along.

I love NYC. One of my favorite places to visit. Definitely stop by the AP boutique. They are very nice and accommodating.

Thanks guys! NYC is nice. After spending 2 days to adjust the 13-hour jet lag, we managed to visit around several key attractions in Manhattan. Lots of leg works!

Made a short trip to Orlando WDW and man... It was fun! The weather was perfect and the experience was magical indeed!

Now just back to NYC and we are expecting snow tonight. Yet to visit AP @ 57th...

Stay till this Friday. You?

By the way, it snowed briefly last night. It was quite amazing for us to have experienced two vastly different weather in a day: the warm Florida sun in the morning, and the snowy evening in NYC! And they are barely 2-hour flight apart...

Had a nice dinner at the Rock Centre Cafe with a superb view of the giant Christmas tree fully lit up

Yes Howard, a great time indeed

We spent the last few days exploring more attractions in NYC. The exhibits in the American Natural History Museum were rich and lifelike. The dinosaurs were just incredible

The snowy morning on Tuesday did not dampen our mood to take the free ride on the Staten Island Ferry, and we had a very unique impression of the Statue of Liberty in a snowy and foggy atmosphere.

For us who come from the Far East, it was a precious experience to be able to play in the snow at Central Park and build a snowman! It definitely was an amateur work

Visited AP boutique on 57th St on Wednesday and met some great forum guys the same night. Will post the experience later...

It's freezing now here...

Nice pics!

No snow when I was there, but I don't mind a snow-free vacation. I have a suspicion I'll showel enough snow at home.

Nice shop indeed!
Few weeks earlier.
