I have been tracking the accuracy of my new SubC over the past three weeks: +.7 per day--yes point seven. I'm happy.

Now my six month old Datejust at +4 per day seems horribly inaccurate!!

Nice accuracy. I am getting about .3 fast a day on my 1986 cal 3035 datejust. No complaints here!!

How does one ever record .07 of a second and no matter the movement its only as good as to what its been regulated too.

Great accuracy guys! Nothing beats a good regulation of a good movement. My Daytona is not that accurate, about +4.2 sec/day but I used to own a vintage King Seiko from 1971 that was about +1.5 sec/week, sometimes even better. And even a non-COSC Tudor chronograph was constantly at +9 sec/week.

wow ,,, thats some going out of a clockwork motor , in a tin box , that gets shaken about all day long.

watches are amazing when you actually think about what you expect them to do.

I, too, have been getting great accuracy w/ my LV. After 54 days, it's 5 seconds fast. Pretty scary. Amazing little machine.

I can relate. My Sub does a very good +1 second a day but my Panerai Pam 104 is currently at 0 seconds in 64 days and counting. My Pam blows all my quartz watches away. Even my Omega PO gets +.25 seconds a day. COSC specs would be way disappointing now with any of my automatics.

My Datejust that I bought six months ago is at +4 per day. I didn't have a problem with that until I got the new Sub with it's outstanding accuracy. I mentioned it to my AD and they readily offered to send it to Rolex to fine tune it. Do you guys see any downside to sending a new watch for regulation?

I don't see a problem. Some folks value accuracy and some think it's a silly pursuit. For me it's just one more point of pride for a watch brand I admire and not least of all, paid lots of money for. I have a G series DJ and a random series EXPII. Both were regulated not long after purchase. Based on 24/7 wearing the DJ was +6s/day and is now +2s. The EXP was +7s/day and is now +0.3.

That's pretty much is how I feel too. I think I'm going to have the AD send it in.

The only downsides are you'll be without the watch for a few weeks anyway, and it's already within spec so there may be a cost.

My new SubC has lost a total of 5 seconds over the first 23 days of ownership, an average of -0.2 sec/day. Pretty amazing!! But, I just discovered my wife's 15-month old DJ was running +18 sec/day, so it's on its way to RSC.
