Fakes suck.

So I'm thinking, "I should get a Sub."

But I want a vintage Sub, and they are $$$$.

So I'm looking into a Tudor Sub. All the great looks of a vintage Rolex, and it's a REAL Submariner to boot, at a more reasonable price

And I'm looking at them on the Bay. Spot one that looks REALLY sweet, but something about the dial isn't quite right - "Swiss T<25"

Do some more investigation online and it turns out it's a really good fake. How do I know? Because it has the same serial number as half-a-dozen other nice Tudor Subs sold online recently

It's very frustrating that even a lesser-known brand like Tudor attracts scumbags who are in it to rip people off.

Which leads me to my conclusion. Fakes suck, and good fakes suck worst of all.

Cheers,

d.

The suspicious serials are 7377XX.

At a buy-it-now of $800 and "as is no returns" the seller knows it's fake.

The seller states that the watch is fake in the listing, minus movement.

The Singapore seller says in the item description:

“We believe this is an aftermarket piece with the exception of the movement”.

By saying it’s “Aftermarket” he’s saying it’s a “Fake”

The only problem with it is that it shares a serial number with at least half-a-dozen known Tudor Subs sold in the last few months.

These b@$+@rd$ are even worse!
http://skynetwatch.com/index.php?mai...index&cPath=30

I stumbled upon them when I was trying to research my REAL Expy2.

That black dial Expy2 for $235 looks PRETTY convincing!

Translation :

We know it is a good fake. An identical one will cost you $99 direct from China.

Nonetheless we will charge you $800, sucker.

Friggin' DIABOLICAL

I hate that they rip off vintage stuff, too, DR Sea-Dweller for $100.

And I love the disclaimer:

"We do not represent our replica products to be original nor do we represent that they are exact copies, therefore, they do not violate any copyright laws."

Tell it to the judge

I had read on the MWR that they can be purchased by the half-dozen from Vietnam for $500 each.
