1915 Rolex Trench Watch
Hi
I have recently purchased a Rolex trench watch. The watch has an 18ct solid gold Dennison case and is hallmarked 1915. Does anyone know much about these? I know little and can only find solid silver versions available so have no clue how to value this. Many thanks for any assistance you can give. Paul |

Welcome to TRF. Posting a couple of pictures would help get the discussion started.

Rolex movement - check
Rolex dial - many Rolexes of this time didn't have the Rolex name on the dial Case - most Rolex cases at this time that I have seen have either/and W&D and Rolex on the inside case back. No doubt this is a nice watch but have to check to see if there is a way to confirm that the case is original to the movement. While I have seen trench watches with gold cases, the Rolex trench watches I'm familiar with are silver. A sample Rolex trench watch case back from 1914 is below. |

Many thanks, any assistance you can give will be a great help. The one I have has an 18ct Gold Dennison case. I have trawled the net and seen a few of this era with dennison cases but mostly rolled gold.
It looks right for the watch and the era but I need some clarification if that is at all possible. |

Can anybody give me any further information/opinion on this. Is it an original watch/case match?
Any idea of value? |

Might want to check this out. Signed on the dial, 9k, sweep second hand, but Dennison case seemingly without Rolex or W&D markings.
