Looking for first Rolex
Hi everyone, new here and just starting my serious research before purchasing my very first Rolex!
I've been using this site as a primary information source for a while for who to avoid type stuff & pretty much found what I've been looking for at an online store. To be specific, has anyone heard ill of *bgrayjewelers* located in Ft. Laud. FL? They have a GMT II listed at a price I am willing to pay for a watch that age. Not having the experiance of some of y'all, I am hesitant to bid on one on ebay due to the horror stories I hear. Thanks for any help in this matter, MLG |

Welcome to TRF!
The best advice I can give, and usually everyone elses here, is buy the seller first.......DoxaDavid just had a horrible, but lucky experience buying online, but it doesn't mean you you shy away. Just take your time and I'm sure you'll get a lot a feed back here! Enjoy your stay!

I would only buy from an AD (Authorized Dealer). There are too many fakes out there. Yes, you can save a few $$'s but you hate to get scammed and lose several thousand on a fake or damaged one. If you want to buy used, you can still do that at an AD.

This is the best advice for a first time buyer.

Hang Around in the for sale section. Good place to find your first rollie. Take it from me, good people on this forum selling authentic rollies. Found my first there last month. Had a great transaction with the gentlemen who was selling a beautiful ss sub, circa 2007.
