What do you do with your Rolex boxes??

I've always wondered why watch companies spend so much on their watch boxes. It's never on display at the AD (to be viewed or to influence you prior to purchase) and I've always stored it out-of-sight, hidden inside its cardboard outer box.

Do others on the forum prominently display their boxes? Or, are you just like me and chuck it (safely) in the corner somewhere until you need it for resale??

I've often thought of selling mine. I just keep it in a closet. I kept the red wallet and card holder.

We have a drawer full in a spare bedroom... Eventually it will be the whole dresser!

What do you do with your other watch boxes? Are they displayed or tossed somewhere in the darkness?

Sell. Plenty of happy customers willing to pay top dollar for packaging.

Keep them in the drawer for the time when I sell my watches (highly unlikely) or when someone is passing the watches in their packaging on to the next generation (highly likely, eventually).

Thanks, I like the aesthetic look of it, though I'm sure the cleaning lady finds it pretentious. Lol.

Double zip lock bagged and then stored in a hard tupperware cargo box storred away for safe keeping until ready to sell. But I'm very pecular about my watches and accessories. All the extra links and paperwork are zip locked and go in the safe deposit box at the bank.

At least she hasn't stolen year Rolex yet (or, at least I haven't seen you post a thread, "my cleaning lady stole my Rolex")

Tuck away. But it's nice to have nice packaging when buying a new watch. Rolex boxes are not nice anyway esp compare to other brands.

Tucked my box/papers away in closet for 19 years, then for an unknown reason apparently & inexplicably I chucked it....

1 year later i actually sold the watch, i have zero recollection of why I discarded the box.
