Model Identification Help Please

My sister in law handed this watch to my wife few years ago. Now I need to buy extra links for it cuz it's getting tight to my wife's wrist. My sister in law bought this BNIB around 1990's and doesn't really care so much for the box and somehow all the paperwork and box got lost. I need help Identifying the model for this one so I can buy extra links. Don't mind the earrings.

Looks like it's a Ladies President 18k, 26mm. I believe the model # is 179178. The full link from Rolex cost is $480, and a 1 1/4 link is $600.

Thanks. I want the number. I believe the newer models have different bracelet. Others are hollow and some I heard have solid.

The newer ones from around 2000 are solid, and the earlier ones were hollow. If you can't find an older link, I believe the newer ones will still work.

My pleasure. I meant to say around the year 2000, Rolex switched from the old hollow to the current solid bracelets. Good luck.

My mother has the same watch. The links are solid actually. I don't know what the cost is, but the model number should be 79178 if it was from the early 90's.

You are correct on the 79178 being the eariler model number. The 179178 is the newer model. Not sure about the links being solid. I do know around 2000 on the men's, Rolex changed to solid links. Anyone else?

.

This Watch is a lady datejust , but could be a 26mm 69178 or a 31mm 68278.

If it's a 26mm 69178, bracelet is a 13mm/8mm president 8153/8. Additional link have reference# 32-21269.

If it's a 31mm 68278, bracelet is a 17mm/14mm president 8389/8 or 8390/8. Additional link have reference# 32-21390.

You should find the Watch model number between lugs at 12h after removing bracelet. The bracelet model can be found engraved on the clasp.

You can also mesure diameter, as 26mm and 31mm are distinguishable ...
