That's why I always buy Rolex without any papers
Than I am positive that they aren't copies. HAGOne |

How many of us are now going retrieve our warranty cards from the box to check this under a black light?

Cool. Didn't know about that. Breitling's digital e-warranty card is interesting as well, RFID chip that can only be read AD's, once you purchase, it is activated with date, warranty, Serial#, COSC etc and sent to Breitling digitially..whole new level of limiting use of blank warranty cards with pen and ink info. Example below (not my image).

Just have to make sure the serial number matches the watch.

Many a bad watch has a fake warranty card with a matching number, and the quality of such cards has been getting better.
One also gets genuine warranty cards or papers which have been made to match a watch.....by erasing the watch's correct number and applying that from the papers / card in its place ! In summary, don't take too much comfort from matching the two ! With kind regards, Haywood Milton |

Great info - thanks!
I guess counterfeiters can duplicate but first they have to know it's a hidden security feature. I imagine the goal is to stop the ones who don't know of the UV holograms. Cool indeed. |
