Aquanaut strap in winter?

Enjoying a new 5167R this summer, which goes on every weekend. Wondering about the rubber (excuse me, "composite") strap in cold weather. Does it get less comfortable? Traditionally have worn a leather strap IWC chrono classic on weekends in winter but wondering if the 5167R is ok year-round.

Yes it is amazing all year round, as far as I am concerned. It is always comfortable.

Wearing the rubber strap in cold weather may induce itching and a burning sensation unless you rinse it in lemon juice and run the strap under warm (not hot) water for 2-3 minutes before wearing, and limit exposure to 6-8 consecutive hours. And I'm the only one who thinks I'm funny...
The strap provides year-round comfort, although it may wear more loosely in colder months.

I've worn mine in San Francisco this summer and that's the same as winter somewhere else. Very comfortable.

That cold this year?

I see no reason why it will not be comfortable. I have actually cut my strap down a bit already and may end up running a summer and winter strap set up.

I do the same thing...I must have OCD, because my watches drive me nuts if they are too tight or too loose

Mild OCD and WIS go hand in hand in afraid

I truthfully took two notches off when I should have taken one, then reassemble and check...

As a result it's perfect for winter but I am guessing mid summer swell it's going to be a tad tight.

Oh well. A strap is peanuts in exchange for having a good fit year round

I had mine set up for winter and a spare all set up for summer. I was assured I'd need that but it was perfectly comfortable for all seasons, so I have a fresh strap all ready to go when this one looks tatty. Loving the leather look though!

It gets a little looser in the winter and my winter jacket's cuffs get underneath the strap. It's a little annoying, but nothing to cry about.

Metal feels cold. Mechanics of watch and clasp function properly. No worries.

regular lemon or you prefer green lime for that particular piece,

Coming out of winter cant say I noticed any change but then again our winters are mild, the watch will get colder way before the band.
