Receipt

My watch finally got to Rolex London, and I got a letter telling me that it is now with then and assessed.
As you can see by the description, they say most parts are scratched, and not sure what they mean by knocked crown?
Anyway, these things should be sorted out by a service and brought back to showroom condition right? I just need clarification please

What clarification do you need, looks pretty clear to me?

Your watch will come back looking like new.

It was just a guy at my work who also has Rolex's was trying to tell me that the £430 service fee was only for the actual movement service and the bracelet and housing would not be brought back to showroom condition as this was extra.

I am sure in myself, I just wanted the knowledgeable folk here to confirm for my benefit

Anything that is outside of the service you will of course have to pay for = new insert/bezel.

Hi Steve,
They will bring the watch back as new.
The scratches will be removed as part of the service.
If they are going to change the insert and the crown, it will not be a big cost

Enjoy the wait I have been there

Thanks Zoran,
Even after it gets back, I still have to wait until April until I get it in my hand

Mainsprings are replaced as part of service and although they say bezel is scratch you do not have to change it.Regarding the crown again these are often replaced at service possible charge for crown, but case bracelet refurbish is part of service.

I see you have the serial number of your watch clearly visible on your invoice. I read somewhere on this forum to never publicly show the serial number of your watch as that info can be taken by counterfeiters & they then have a real serial number to put on any number of fake watches. With that in mind you should probably blur out your serial number.

Did they give you a dollar amount estimate (or pound, I suppose!)?

It's not the full number I did remove some digits But maybe Admin can blur as I can no longer edit the post.
