Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust Circa 1955

Hi, I recently opened up my safebox, and took out my Oyster Perpetual Datejust; well my inherited one. I began researching for details and information, but I am nowhere to find the correct band on the internet. Perhaps you guys can help me. I've taken it to jewelry stores, and it is a legit watch.
Here are some pictures and videos:

From what I've been, the band appears to be soldered, yet it has the Rolex logo engraved on the clasp, and seems to be 18k 750 gold. Also, I am looking forward to change the watchface as it has lost its color; will I be able to do so if I send it to Rolex directly?
