Help for 7928/0 Case

I am new to Vintage watch and bought the year of 1967 Tudor 7928/0 form ebay. this 7928 very aged and case not in the good condition . Local watchmaker checked the watch and said this everything original and real ( old dial , hand , CAL 390 movement , bezel insert )

but i have a question about the watch case , case does not have the word '' stainless steel '' but saw some other 7928 with '' stainless steel ''

can anyone tell me what wrong ? am i bought the fake 7928 ? thank you

http://tudorcollectorsite.blogspot.h...odel-7928.html

The 7928 and the 7928/0. The /0 was added to many tudor references in the mid 60's to denote stainless steel

so 7928/0 with out the '' stainless steel '' is normal ?? any one can advise me ??
thank you

I would prefer a better image but it looks like STAINLESS STEEL was rubbed out by the bracelet endlinks. You can see the wear over the serial #

Given the condition of the watch it would no surprise of the stainless steel engraved was worn off.

Yes - started (I think mid) 1967. I had a II/67 (caseback stamped is 2nd quarter 1967) 7928 stamped with the 7928/0. Serial number was just a few hundred later than yours.
