I'm going Bama and Oregon today.
Has anyone else noticed that the "mighty" SEC West has lost 4 consecutive bowl games? |

That was quite a showing by the Ducks. I'm hoping Ohio St. beats Bama and Oregon wins it all next week.

5 straight bowl losses does not make that conference look good; and recruits notice things like that. |

Oregon put a beat down on Florida State which wasn't much of a surprise. Florida State barely won all year. TCU was probably a more deserving team than Florida State. The Ohio State/Alabama game was a fun game to watch. The championship game should be a good game with the Ducks pulling it out.

I am glad the Ducks roasted FSU. They've been scraping by all year and finally ran out of luck. 5 or 6 turnovers? You can't do that against the Ducks.
Also happy with the tOSU and Alabama outcome. Don't care for either team but hate Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin (cocky arrogant SOB control freak that ridicules players), and the SEC. I am a Pac 12 guy and specifically, a diehard Southern California fan! |

Yeah, I'm def surprised OSU pulled that out... And you're right, I'm sure all the SEC recruits are decommiting this am... Prolly committing to the MAC or Big-12 now. Oh wait, didn't a weak SEC team drub that Texas team?

I didn't say it would effect every recruit, but all it takes is a couple recruits to start changing the landscape. On a ND forum, there were several recruits who were very impressed by ND taking down LSU. |

I guess Bama wasn't that great after all, Oregon and Ohio State should be a pretty good game..

The SEC certainly didn't play like the best conference in bowl games this year considering the SEC West went 2-5 in bowl games. Pretty weak for a conference that constantly talks about being the best.

I'm putting my $ on Oregon. When they are playing they way they have all season, after their loss to my Wildcats, I'm not sure there is a team in the nation that can keep up with them. It should definitely be a good game.

Oh for sure they pooped the bed this bowl season... But, 9 of the last 15 National Champs have been SEC teams.
