ebay seller conrock54 still selling fake Rolex booklets

Several months ago, I purchased some 60's booklets (Milgauss, Cosmo and Sub). Upon receipt, I questioned their authenticity. I sent them to a trusted member here who immediately determined them to be fake.

I opened a case with ebay and was promptly refunded my money by seller. I didn't out him here because, well, everyone makes HONEST mistakes.

Fast forward to today...I learned he is still selling fake booklets so his sale to me wasn't an innocent mistake, his behavior is habitual.

Beware of seller conrock54

I know the seller has sold a couple fake Submariner booklets in the past, one being as recent as last week. He also has for sale on ebay, many vintage Rolex owner's manuals , the one page sheets, that look virtually brand new. He seems to have an endless supply of these one page sheets which are close to 50-years-old. Conrock54 is also a retired printer who owns a print shop in California.

southtexas what have you done with the 60 books you have purchase it ?

That is to destroy. Dont forguet that.
We supose you already have done that

Other thing is Documents (not talking about manuals) in Ebay is illegal buy and sell. Not just sell.

Cheers

Since he did not know that they were counterfeit until he received them he did nothing illegal if that was the inference.

And I am sure that they have either been destroyed or remain in his possession in case eBay ever comes looking for them. I ran into this same situation with counterfeit merchandise (not Rolex related). My credit card company (like Ebay or PayPal) will advise you that you need to hold on to the merchandise as the seller can send postage for it. However if you ship it back to the vendor you are liable for sending counterfeit merchandise. It is crazy.

And certain brands more aggressively guard their name. Like Uggs and LV and I am sure Rolex.

He bought some 1960s booklets, not 60 booklets.

It was three 1960's booklets, not "60" booklets. I was to return those 3 books during the return/refund process.

And no, I haven't bought anything from him since then...I'm not sure why you think "I keep buying from him and left him positive feedback less than one month ago"???? I'm curious to hear your reasoning for that statement.

I wonder if he will eventually move up to printing $100 bills too ?

I wouldn't hold my breath. Think most of us read your post and understood what happened so don't worry about it.

Icon14 Thanks southtexas..

Thanks for the warning, southtexas. I was about the pull the trigger on a booklet he has for sales. If not for this thread, I would have been taken in !

And to think that he has 100% feedback !! total of 1627 feedbacks !! eBay is infested with all these scums
