Two & Half Men Finale

I'm surprised nobody posted about it, just watch it on the old DVR. While always a Charlie Harper fan (I'm single, never been married, no kids and way to much disposable income for my own good) the finale was funny as hell.

I loved the way they made fun of themselves..... Christian Slater was great, Arnold was awesome and Berta was always one of my favorite characters.

I'll miss it, even with Ashton it was better than some of the junk out there.

Winning

I watched the finale. I agree, it was well done and everyone was made fun of. I kept expecting (hoping?) that, at some point, Charlie Harper would make an appearance. Oh well, I guess it wasn't meant to be. Still, they acknowledged Charlie's importance to the show. Without him there was no 2-1/2 Men.
Btw, Jake was hilarious!

I thought it was a great finale. Great creativity to show that Rose had him in her dungeon for the last 4 years.

Good to see all the old characters back for a quick visit. I would have bet that the kid was a stand-in for Jake, but I googled him and that's how he looks now.

I also liked that the actors dropped out of character a few times and spoke to the camera, that was a nice twist.

Kind of like the Seinfeld finale in that it was one of the best episodes.....

R.I.P. Charlie Harper....

The double piano drop made me wince and then laugh.

They did an OK job of wrapping it up in a less than usual fashion, no?

Thought the finale was ok. Kind of lost interest once Charlie left. I still watch reruns of the old episodes a few times a week. Charlie Harper reminds me of my single days before the wife and kids. Now I'm more like Al Bundy and married with children.... Jk wouldn't trade the wife and kids for anything.

More or less gave up on the show a few years back but did watch the finale.
There were definitely some good laughs and a healthy dose of self-mockery going on but in the end, it was still a show that stayed around WELL past its expiration date.
In that regard, it kinda reminds me of M*A*S*H. I still enjoy the earlier, funny ones but can't make it through the post Trapper/Henry/Frank episodes.

Really I loved Hunnicutt, Charles Emerson Winchester III, and of course Sherman T Potter, I actually like Klinger as the company clerk more than Radar too...
