Cousins

Hi all

This is my wifes Tissot with my Speedy.

I wanted to get her a Rolex, she said it was to expensive, then I said what about an Omega, after trying a few on, said she didn't like them very much, then she saw this at the same AD and really liked it.
As long as she is happy and I saved a few bucks.
So we are all happy.

Simon

Looks good...

I was playing with the T-touch Tissot that you touch the dial for a number of functions.......Alarm, Temperature, Barometer, Compass, Altimeter...............Amazing..

Good looking pair, Simon!

I suppose you're calling them cousins because Omega and Tissot both belong to the Swatch Group?

Larry, I think you're the first one on the Forum to mention the T-Touch. Got one on a rubber strap recently and I must say it's a great for weekends!

:
Omega and Tissot actually joined together and formed the SSIH group in 1930.

It was this group that joined with SMH (Longines/Rado) in 1985 and then Swatch was formed later in the 90's.

Omega and Tissot have been close for over 75 years..

Thanks for the info, Larry! I had no idea Omega and Tissot have been in one group since 1930.
