Help with 16014 purchase

Hello,

Recent member here. I purchased a Datejust 16014 from Overstock.com recently and want to know if anybody here sees any issue with it.

Thank you,

Martin

Sorry guys; here are the pics.

I finally found and purchased the Rolex I've always wanted - the Rolex Datejust 16014 (S/N 74xxxxx). I purchased it from Overstock.com and would like your opinion of it based on the attached pictures. Also, with the S/N, is there a way to find any Rolex service history of the watch? It seems to be in pretty good shape but this information would put my mind at a little more ease.

Thanks!

Martin R.

It looks good to me although I'm not as familiar with the vintage models as I am the more modern ones.

Even leveling the head in the bracelet shot the bracelet looks quite tight.

I'm not sure about the service history, but usually watchmakers mark or engrave the inside of the case back to record service dates.

Band is snug worry endlinks should have reference number 555 stamped and the band looks do new I think the endlinks and band section may have been replaced and the clasp retained. Show me the inside markings of the clasp. Head is ok.

end pieces are fake and for a lugless case, the clasp could be fake can't tell for sure on my iPhone I will open these pics on big screen the tomorrow. However the clasp at best is off a
Two Tone band not steel and not the band on the watch or any steel band. Can you remove a screw and take a pic of the thread Clearer Straight on shot of the inner and outer clasp markings would help als,o, sorry for the bad news.

@Crowncollection: I appreciate the information, whether bad or good. Looks like I'll be scheduling a talk with Overstock.com re: these fake/non-correct parts.

You tell them the 555 should be stamped yours are lightly engraved the B means for s later model with no lug holes yours should just be 555. The clasp code 62523 is a two tone band h18 means the centre links are 18k. Yours should just say 62510h cheers
