Why doesn't AP millenary get any love?

The AP ROO gets all the love but no love for the millenary. Why is that?

I love it. i guess some folks are more into RO and ROO. More versatile watches. The millenary's odd shape and leather strap limits its use. It more formal in my opinion.

I owned one several years ago. It was a fun fourth or fifth watch, but just never really found an occasion to wear it (as I'm more casual), so sold it.

If you wear suits and ties everyday it's a fun one for the rotation.

I like the watch.
But, I have heard it described as too feminine.
I don't agree with that. But apparently it is not as masculine as the RO because it does not look like a big block.

As AP are probably the leading sports luxury brand, a dress watch is a bit like a 4 door Ferrari.

The dial and movement is no doubt nice. But it's that oval shape... I feel like I am wearing an egg when I put it on.

I love my FF. one of my favourite cars.

The watch is out of proportion.

More of a dressy watch combined with an unusual shape limits it appeal as compared to a Royal Oak.

Sure, but not what most are looking for in a Ferrari or an AP.

Agreed but if you have multiple prancing horses in your stable, having a FF in your stable is a great addition.

Nonetheless, the watch is not for me.

the open dial and balance wheel spinning is pretty cool but the oval shape lengthwise is a difficult fit on my wrist...I like it off the wrist...

Because it looks like an egg. Can't warm up to them...Sorry but to each his own.
