116610LN vs. 116710 BLNR Case

Can someone tell me if the case size of these two refs are the same ? The BLNR case looks narrower and less box size than the Sub. Also, anyone know the weight difference as well ? Thanks.

I think the lugs are slightly more narrow on the ceramic GMTs than the subs.

I haven't weighed the two, but from experience the GMT felt lighter.

GMT2C lugs are more narrow and the case is slightly thinner.

A negligible amount on both issues.

Cases are not the same, GMT is more comfy for me.

This. Also, the sub sits a bit higher on the wrist cause of the thicker caseback.

When I bought my BLNR I put both gmt and sub side by side to compare them. The GMTc case is actually thicker than the sub,the bezel is identical,it is the bigger dish on the subs caseback that makes up the difference.Lug width is identical, however the GMT lugs are more rounded when viewed from the side.I thought the lugs were wider on the sub before comparing them,I can only put it down to the fact that they are more in proportion with the rest of the case on the GMT and the more rounded tops make them look less imposing.

Kind Regards

Nigel

GMT case is thicker.
Sub caseback is thicker, making the sub's overall dimensions thicker.
However, when viewing from the side the sub will appear thinner since it has a thinner case. The caseback will make it sit higher on your wrist.
