R. Kelly and ROLEX!

In Chicago, singer and songwriter R. Kelly is on trial for allegedly making a videotape of a sexual encounter he had with an underage girl. The most explosive witness against him was a woman who claimed that she had had three-way sex with the singer and the young girl.

During the cross-examination of this witness (one Ms. Van Allen), this testimony was elicited by Sam Adam, Jr., R. Kelly's attorney:

Van Allen admitted, on direct examination, that she stole a Rolex watch from Kelly after a tryst at a Swissotel in Georgia in 2001. Adam told her the watch was worth $20,000 and got her to admit she had not told prosecutors about the incident until Monday.
Chicago Sun-Times, 6/3/08

Just goes to show that inside every major news story, you'll find a Rolex.

Apparently it was "diamond studded" (ran across another article on it randomly)

Since we are in the subject of R. Kelly, I just want to address his music to the forums.

I really loved his music back during the mid 1990s. He was a fantastic R&B singer who had amazing lyrics. Many of his older works I still consider as one of my favorites today.

Here is one example, its a Youtube video but its not a video. Its just a song that you hear in the background. The name of the song is "Bump n' Grind" and it is an old school remix version. This is probably one of my most favorite contemporary R&B songs ever. Just listen to the lyrics and how sensual they are.
