Help with identifying and value

Hello all I just picked this up and having a hard time identifying and valuing this Rolex. I know its a 1935 from the serial number but that's about it. 17 jewels 7 positions adjusted. Thanks for any help.

It's impossible to pinpoint the year with that serial number, especially on a non-Oyster watch. One of those hallmarks in the case back would possibly give you a more accurate date* There's no fixed value on something like this. If you tell us how much you paid, we can tell you if you got a fair deal, though. Nice looking piece anyway. Do you have a photo of the movement?

*Just did a very brief google search. The Squirrel apparently signifies Swiss made and the 115 looks like it signifies the case maker (Farvre & Perret), so you might have no luck with dating from hallmarks here. Anyway, best to wait for one of our better-informed vintage experts to come along.

Very late 1940s production, refinished dial it appears.

Earliest watch I could find with the "31 victories" were from 1942, but they used it for years after as well, most I've seen were late 40's like Joe said.

Always loved that hour hand, i'd have to agree, dial does look refinished.

The serial is on the case back, the number on the movement is the movement serial and doesn't tell us anything.
