I like them for playing in the water. Adds some safety.

Steel bracelet, always. Leather for vintages, anytime. Nato, not my liking.

I don't like it because most nato looks too flimsy against my SubC. It looks inproportIonal to me.

I'm not particularly partial to them.
I've always liked bracelets, ever since I bought my first watch with one back in the Seventies.

Nope. They look OK as a fashion accessory online, but I prefer the metal. I don't see ever going textile.

Yeah I don't like them either on Rolex watches. It takes away the luxury presence and makes them look like cheap Amazon watches.
On a cheaper watch. Don't mind so much. Just not on luxury watches. |

Not a big fan but they can look great on certain watches.
I blame it on the autoconnect. |

I wore a nato strap on my CWC divers watch for 20 years, this was my daily watch, it looked good but on a rolex ????? Sorry I think it does not suit the brand, I cannot understand why you would remove the rolex bracelet ???????

What's to like about the vile things? They make your watch look like cheap junk. Its just a placcy nylon strap. They probably pull the spring pins unevenly too. C'mon chaps, don't be silly, put the proper oyster bracelet back on and stop this ridiculous trend.

~~~I see that you live in the UK, a climate not typically known for many warm days ...I live in north central Fla. where it is quite warm most of the year. When spending time outdoors, a good NATO band wears comfortably for me, it's also easy to launder and change out with another NATO if the first becomes soaked in persperation ~~~beauty is in the eye of the beholder ~~~w/cotton as well and a multitude of colors, patterns ~~~life is risky=:-) Quote:
~~~FWIW, ever since acquiring an 114060 in early May of this year, I've left it on the Glidelock bracelet, despite originally having intentions of occasional wear on a NATO. I've left it on the stainless steel bracelet for several reasons. For one, I have two other watches that I routinely leave on NATO, one of which is the Speedie Pro and I removed the SS bracelet from it for a few reasons, one of which is I didn't want two wristwatches on SS bands and the Speedie bracelet wasn't a perfect fit (Glidelock nipped that in the bud) + I currently like the look of the Speedie on a NATO I'm also leaving the Submariner on the Glidelock as I tend to wear this Sub for casual wear and not when I'm working (on my farm), that way the bracelet remains clean and the watch doesn't require a scrubbing as often. I like to FO as much as I can, and I do so the Sub is worn regularly. I'm wearing it right now=:-) Others may have better and different ideas |

They certainly do come in a variety of colours and patterns. I'll give you that!
