Thats a beauty too. I figure, if I'm going to give my wife a reason to kill me, it might as well be a good one and lot 75 would almost be worth it

I must be easy, since I'm willing to risk death for far less.

We're in the same boat. I fool myself into believing that if I can keep them hidden I'll be safe. Now she actually checks the accounts when I'm alone anywhere near an AD, or if I comment to much on a pic I've seen here.

She is, however, growing very fond of you. When I mentioned how much I liked the strap you have on the Ex II she was overwhelmed that it was only a strap I was looking to buy. All I hear now is "what a great idea that Atomic guy had, you should do something like that" I can't wait to tell her about your Panerai scheme

Well I tell you, putting the ExpII on a strap is the best thing I could have done. It gives the watch a whole new look (and life). In fact, I actually PREFER it on a strap to the oyster, now.

Yep, I think the oyster bracelet will get very little use in the future. The leather strap really dresses it up, and the carbon fibre strap sports it back, while still looking dressy.

I think a Sub or a GMT would look great on a carbon fibre strap as well. Plus, the CF is waterpruf, too.

I think the one with the red stitching would great on my GMT. I may have a deal in the works right now on something used that I've wanted for a while. If that pans out I'll be needing a strap for it. I'll order the one with the red stitching while I'm at it.

I have to thank you atomic. Because of your pics of the ExpII on a strap, I've made up my mind. I'll be getting a black ExpII instead of a GMT or Sub (as much as it hurts me to not have the sub again !) As simple as it may seem (and because I own a Panerai I should've known better ), I would've never thought to put a strap on any Rolex. But, damn, does it look good!!!!

P.S.
I'm going to take lot#18. Would you guys and girls like anything??

Craig, I got the black carbon fibre with the red stitching and the black leather with white stitching from www.watchprince.com. Great products and customer service.

When you look there, do a search under 20mm and CF. I think I paid US$35 for it. Also, you might want to see about getting a butterfly deployment for the strap. It makes the straps last longer (no big crease from a tang buckle). Bruce gave me the one I have, and I can't remember the online shop he got it from. I think it was mywatchmaker.net or something, but that link doesn't work. But the clasp I have is from the same manufacturer that makes the clasps for Glashutte Original, but only cost about $50.

BTW Johnny B, I'm glad you like the look of mine on a strap. I'm a lover of Panerais, but I can only have one good watch at this point. THe straps make it more like I have three watches (in one). Also, my name is John.

Thanks, John. I've purchased a strap and a divers deployment clasp from watchprince for an old watch I had. Good customer service Thanks for the info.
