Concern re vintage day-date positional amplitude and beat error.
I have a 18238 (yellow gold day-date)
from 1991. Getting amplitude dial up about 260 and crown down about 230. Beat error dial up .9 and crown down 1.4. Am concerned - particularly re high beat error - but watch keeps a consistent +6 in daily use. Not sure when last serviced. Thoughts? Many thanks! (Couldn't seem to find what I needed by searching old threads.) |

The reason it's not doing so well, is most likely a lack of fresh oil.
