Which MAXI Dial 5513 for you? Post pics if you have them!

Researching well in advance as you do, and I have nailed it down to two favourites of mine.
The maxi MK 1, for the larger plots, and the maxi MK 3 for the "lollipop dial".
I do feel like a MK 3 is more proportional in the dial somewhat.
Ofcourse at the end I love all of them!

Which is your personal favourite, and why?

Post up pictures of yours if you have any!

I have the MK V. All maxi Subs are great, but I do think the MK III is pretty unique.

Here is my recently acquired Maxi Mk1 that I am certain I will never part with...gotta love those big beautiful creamy dial plots. That said...I've never seen a 5513 I didn't like. Fact is...any vintage Sub with a plexi Crystal gets my love

How can you identify a 702 triplock crown? Difference from a 700 is clear, but how can you tell a 702 from a 703?

Love the MKI, MKII and MKIII (Lolipop)...But nicest is the MKI!

I "only" own a MKI......And yesss, I love it.

But let me explaim why:

It's because of "the smile" in the MKI-Face :-) Here's my trial to illustrate and I hope you know what I mean....it's that the "SUBMARINER" under "660ft=200m" is shorter.
It let's the face smile:

This 1. pic (without my "illustration") is taken from 5513mattedial dot com (thanks, John)

And one time without illustration....My MKI

There is a distinct taper on the backside of the crown than leaves a gap between it and the case. You can also tell by unscrewing it,A 702 has no external gasket,A 703 does.

How about my mk1. Just got it. Only thing is the hands are a slight shade darker. I heard this happens sometime? Seems to be original dial. Overall love the watch.

Wow quite a thread. I love both the Maxi 1 and 3 but ended up picking the 3 recently. I think MK1 has the nicest dials due to the size, but the proportions of MK3 are neater and cleaner.
