312 case thickness comparison pics with 111/510?
Pics anyone?
The Google is not helping me. 😜 Thanks folks. Actually, I just found some: The name of the site gave me pause, but these watches look like the real deal. https://www.replica-watch.info/vb/sh...M111-vs-PAM312) |

I think those are reps, but they illustrate the differences nicely. Here's what I had on hand. Not a 312, so not super helpful, but a 1950s case vs new luminor (563).
I think the new luminor case is supposedly thinner than the old - the caseback really doesn't protrude at all. The linked pics of the 111 show a rather thin caseback as well though. Here's one of 563 vs 049, not very relevant since the proportions of the 40mm case is probably different and it's an auto, but the 049 caseback protrudes down to lug level. Hope this work from phone |

Thanks for the comparisons...
I heard the new 510 case might be slightly thinner than the 111, but I'm not certain. BTW, cool kitchen! |

The main reasons dissuading me from a 510 are:
- Needing a screwdriver to make strap changes - I owned a 111 in the past. - not a fan of the distressed leather straps which come with the 510s |

Thanks again...so this would be representative of Luminor cases for a 111 Vs 510 ( in-house hand wind movement)? That's nice...I sure wish Panerai would have included the easy strap change system. 😤 Love the white color, counters / SS in your kitchen. Very modern. I need to do likewise! |

yeah..if you like the 1950 Luminor case..you are stuck with a thick auto in the 3XX series or the good old and more $$$ 233...
nothing thin... how bout a 1940 case? but its missing crown guard...
