Do you prefer 6 Digit Reference numbers or 5?

I have tried 2ea. 5 digit references; The 16613 and the 16622, both very fine watches. I really like the Idea that the case was slimmer, but when I had them I missed something...

That Something was found in the 6 digit references, and all their upgrades...

The new Daytona is the only 6 digit that I like, and I'd still brush the lugs and PCLs.

The 5 digit watches are a bit like the last of the air-cooled Porsches, IMO.

definitely like the 5 digit, trying to warm up to the 6 digit 114060, but at the end of the day, the heart is set on 14060M as the next rolex

The 5 digit era was the golden age for Rolex. All those fine machines from the never discussed 16550 to the always discussed 16610 that became so ubiquitous. I've owned many over the years. That said, my OP39 114300 is my daily wear.

I like subs, expIIs, and gmts better in five digits; my DJII is six digit. OP, exp, DD, and DJ can go either way. I was pretty confident that I liked five digit watches better but I guess that only is on some models. The rest can go six.
