Question about Ballpoint pen

So I use my Montblanc Meisterstuck Le Grande nearly everyday at work or at home and I've noticed that when I first begin to write with it, maybe after letting the pen retract back in and rest for 10minutes or longer and then use it again it'll skip for half a part of a letter. Is this normal? What I mean is that the pen writes invisible (similar to when your ink is out) for a half a pen stroke then it writes normally. Is this to be expected? Thanks.

That sounds like something I have had with a roller ball, not a ballpoint. I have a burgundy and a black classic ballpoint and they have never done that. It may be a bad cartridge.

Thanks, I might just try another cartridge then!

Check with MB Customer Service. I got a couple of RB Cartridges from a store that did not work right. MB replaced them.

I have used four BP cartridges over the years without a problem.

I had the exact same thing with my rollerball. Just changed the ink for a new one and it's worked perfectly ever since.

You must eventually try the Montblanc fountain pen line as well. No going back to ballpoints afterwards. :)
