FS: Tudor Submariner Snowflake 90910, blue (Mini-Prince Oysterdate)
34mm with crown / 31mm without
This is a very, very nice example. It has a beautiful blue insert and an ever so slightly faded blue dial. The insert is of the design of the regular size Submariners (most Tudor Mini-Sub inserts that I have seen have much thinner marking / don’t feature the classic and timeless bezel design). It has a little scratch just below the 40, but hardly visible in normal light. The Markers have a very nice light-cream patina. The watch has no crown guards and the grooves on the bezel are thin like on early (James Bond-) Submariners. It comes with a wonderful original folded bracelet (not the Lady-version that has long links). It has 11 links, so it fits a big (man’s) wrist (see photo). All these details give the watch the appearance of a “mini-James Bond”. It does not look like a ladies watch but like a true Mini-Sub. I bought it from a small little antique shop in Manhattan that also sold vintage watches. This watch belonged to the owner of that shop for more than two decades. He rarely wore it. Most of those years it sat in his shop and it shows. The case is very sharp and the folded bracelet has very little stretch. When I bought the watch about a year and a half ago I had the watch and movement completely serviced but not polished apart from the plexi. At the time it was pressure tested and is tight. I never wore it. I meant to give it to somebody but things changed. Nothing has to be done to this watch. It is ready to go. It is a really beautiful watch. Because of all the wonderful details that are coming together in this watch and its exquisite condition (that is hard to find) I am asking $2,500 but I am open for any offer. a IMG_6402.jpg b IMG_6392.jpg c IMG_6393.jpg d IMG_6388.jpg e IMG_6397.jpg f IMG_6396.jpg g IMG_6391.jpg h IMG_6389.jpg i IMG_6390.jpg j IMG_6400.jpg k IMG_6406.jpg l IMG_6405.jpg |

More Pictures
One interested party requested more picture, especially of between the lugs.
I wasn't able to undo the bracelet on the side of the model number (but it is clear wich model it is). I am not a watchmaker so I did not want to force it or risk scratching the watch while trying. I am sure it can be removed by someone who has more skills than me. I did however removed the bracelet on the serial number side. It is clearly visible and very clean, however I blacked it out for obvious reasons. But it is easy to see how clean the watch is. Enjoy and feel free to ask questions or make an offer. 1 IMG_6421.jpg 2 IMG_6418.jpg 3 L1100285.jpg 4 L1100282.jpg 5 IMG_6413.jpg 6 IMG_6414.jpg 7 L1100280.jpg 8 L1100281.jpg 9 L1100283.jpg 10 IMG_6416.jpg 11 IMG_6417.jpg 12 L1100279.jpg 13 IMG_6422.jpg 14 IMG_6423.jpg |
