Thinking of Buying Steel 26400

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of getting the AP 26400 in steel with a ceramic bezel. I would appreciate any thoughts on owning the watch/appropriate price to purchase a preowned one.

Thanks!

I love that piece! I think 24k is reasonable. Beautiful bezel, ss case is safe too.

Thanks,

Preowned I would want to be 20-22k. 20 representing a smoking deal imho.

Thanks guys. I was debating between the ROO Ceramic and the Navy, but I'm a bit hesitant to have a SS bezel...

Any wrist shots from owners?

Very nice watches and car How have you found it so far? I would use it as a daily wearer alongside my GMTIIC as more of a "fun" watch

Make sure you get the right dial because there are two different ones. One a off white and the other one is a bright white. Here are the two. I much prefer the white bright.

When did this happen? I wasn't so aware and thought it was more due to lighting?

Unfortunately it happened a year ago when they introduced the off white. But you will see the bright white as well as I just got a J serial with the bright white dial it's just that the off white is more prevalent.

Thanks. So new models are produced with both off and bright white dials?

Not only the color ... the original dial (bright white) has a much deeper tapisserie pattern that catches the light nicely, while the new version is flatter.

Either way, it is a fantastic watch (all the 44s are) and makes a great daily. It is important to get the right size strap to get a comfortable fit.

If you buy pre-owned, make sure it is in good shape and has warranty left.

Pull the trigger! It's a great watch. I prefer the bright white/silver dial as well.

That's the coolest-looking watch ever. If they made that in 42mm I'd sell my wife and dog to buy one. Absolutely stunning.

So you ended up selling the RG? Your 42 RG came back looking brand new! Congrats on the 44SS pick up. Good combo with your 42!

From someone who bought one 2 weeks ago. Excellent piece and easy to buy a couple different bands to change the look a bit when you feel the need.

Just bought one myself, traded a diver and a DSSD for it. Loved the diver but the SS bezel was a major concern of mine with scratches, Carbon is easy breezy.
