Girard Perregaux Laureato

This sports watch, updated, in blue dial, has really caught my eye. Limited availability, only two AD's in the NY metro area, hard to try one on.
I'm beginning my research, on the brand and the model - websites, chat rooms, blogs, but the brand isn't widely known or owned.
Can anyone here provide some insight, personal experience?

Have a chat with Michael, see if he can persuade you to take the leap of faith many others can’t bring themselves to do.

I like it but the price seems a bit high for the level of finishing.

For that price, I would much prefer the AP RO 15400.
And if you buy it new from your AD, without discount, expect a huge hit in the pre owned market.

I like it, but I would wait until they become more readily available and start hitting the pre owned market so that you would avoid the initial depreciation as you take a large hit with GP

Of course with such brands pre owned is the key...
