If money not an option the PP, it looks awesome in real, but the premium is insane for a little gold...

I'm hoping to see an ap royal oak perpetual calendar this weekend, so I won't vote until then. All great options though

That's easy - royal oak perpetual. Really good vale for a well made perpetual.
Don't really understand the logic of a rose gold watch with a tropic strap. Not my cup of tea

AP PC!!! And I love aquanauts.

That mp is to die for. Choose your metal. Mine would be steel

Edit: is this person into watches? A PC may be a bit much to deal with if they aren't somewhat savvy. Maybe not though....just a thought.

Not a fan of AC/PC complications (blame it on a bad IWC AC experience) so I'd go 5164 which is one of my favorite watches.

I would select the 5164R here, but that is my preference!

I like the RO perpetual cal. but i must agree that the 5164R is also a beautiful watch when I saw it in the metal. tough choice, i like moon-phase complication so my vote here is the RO perp.

I think the RO PC is the better watch, but I'd get the 5164 as I'd wear it more often.

The RO PC is awesome but does not hold its value at all. th PP will hold value a bit better overtime. If you are never trading it he RO is just a ton more watch for the money in a timeless design.

I don't know if that's really true, the 5164 isn't exactly flying off the shelves. I'd rather get what I like than worry about resale especially for a gift.
