This is incredible and my favorite Speedmaster Pro combination

I think out of the Mitsukoshi SE Panda, Gemini blue dial and the CK-2998, this is easily my favorite Speedmaster combination. I switched out the blue strap and placed the special ordered 1125 bracelet on the CK-2998 and the result, just out of this world awesome. The combination screams vintage and the bracelet for some reason just makes the blue look more black and resulting in a super panda look.

Omega should really make the CK-2998 release in a bracelet and even if they made the run in 8,000 pieces, they would sell out like hot cakes. Is this not just awesome or what?

I tend to prefer straps on speedys but that's not bad!

Wow, fred. That does look amazing. Tell me about the end links and fit. Does it seem like a perfect match?

The end links that came with 1125 bracelet were actually 617s. The omega technician said it should fit perfect and if not, she would order the 560 end links that I had initially requested. The 617s fitted perfect without any wiggle room - nice and snug. So far, this combo is just down right sick.. the staff were taking pictures of this combo because it looked that good. Loving it.

Highly recommend and that strap is nice but never coming back. Love it on bracelet and the added vintage feel.

Looks nice, but did you consider the racing bracelet? Wondering if that might suit this watch as well.

I did and I think the polished portion of the racing bracelet detracts from the vintage look. If you see this combo in person, you will get it. Hard to describe but feels so right.

Yeah that looks awesome, Fred!

When I put my name on the list for one at the NYC boutique the salesman actually recommended that I source a 1125 and said that they would install it for me if I chose to go that route. Apparently even Omega employees agree with you!

I like the bracelet, but without being a party pooper, the brushed finish seems to me to be a mismatch to the polished case.

I think the brown strap from my Sedna version is the strap to have on the ck so will add that as well. I'm not a big fan of blue straps.

Check out the brown Hadley Roma in 19mm oil-tanned. Only $20 and looks fantastic.

will the 1125 bracelet fit a Speedmaster Pro? Wondering if the Speedmaster Pro clasp can be transferred to the 1125 also?

1125 is 19mm and I think the lug width for 3570.50 is 20mm.

CK-2998 really does hang in there very well against some heavy comp's here

Wonderful chronograph collection. I'd say it's right at home.
