Recommendation for high quality day planner?

Looking for something nice that I can enjoy using on a daily basis in a business environment. Leather with a calendar, note section, spot for a pen etc. I figured people who enjoy high end timepieces might also enjoy something like this. Thanks for any suggestions.

Probably some here still use that form of scheduling and organization, but personally, I went digital in the late Nineties and haven't looked back. The introduction of the smartphone really sealed the deal.

Of course, I'm retired now and only schedule my bowling, guitar lessons, and medical appointments, and have an app for notes, so the phone does more than well enough.

I can appreciate going digital for planning. But I like to get as much enjoyment as possible out of my nice pens etc. I find the act of physically writing in a planner cathartic.

Ck out Levenger, I've ordered different leather goods from them in the past and have always been happy.

I reluctantly went by way of cell phone/iPad years ago. Don't carry the leather day planners anymore. :) I'm still fond of them, just don't carry them anymore.

Buy whatever 7 ring binder you like.
Good system of refills here.

I have gone back to old school paper after years of digital.

The pickings are slim but improving. This is a huge trend, though, as so many of my wife's medical partners have ditched digital for the personal planners.

I have a Filofax Napa A5:

https://www.amazon.com/Filofax-Organ.../dp/B00LB5M45C

Works great and the ability to keep a paper record on hand really works for me. My planning, coordination and creativity just do better with paper.

My wife just ordered a Van der Spek:

http://www.vdsshop.com/

They have a great reputation and are totally customizable.

You can also customize your inserts by downloading a format you like from here:

http://philofaxy.blogspot.com/p/diary-inserts.html

I wanted a detailed insert printed on paper thick enough to stand up to a fountain pen without bleeding through. I bought a heavy weight paper and printed my own calendar.

Yes, I am OCD.

I went to "notes plus" Ap on my iPad for about two months.

Then I went back to legal size graph paper for the ability to take notes or design stuff on the same page and then scan and save. Very old school but even with all the features of notes plus, there's not much that can't be done with graph paper and a Fisher space pen. (Ps ripping out a page to share info or something is a lot easier with a pad of paper too!)

My suggestion is to pick the planning system first. They are all over the map in managing pertinent info and note taking.

Before PDAs (remember those?) I used Day-Timer. Then chose their better leather portfolio to fit. I also bought their add-in forms to have graph paper, etc for free-form drawings or diagrams.

Honestly.....?

An iPhone 7

If you're hell bent on pen and paper then why not look at Mont Blanc's offerings. They have some really nice stuff.
