Greetings from San Diego, CA all. I am very excited to be on the lookout for my first Rolex. I am thinking for my budget that a pre-owned 14060 is the way to go for me. Any tips on where to look and how much to pay would be greatly appreciated. I'm doing my own research of course, but your wealth of knowledge and experience would be very much appreciated.

If you want a discount, justrolexes is located in San Diego and can help you, as can OCRoloexguy who is in Los Angeles. Both great trusted sellers.

Or if you want the Authorized Dealer (AD) experience, Ben Bridge is a local AD that is very good in my experience. They are in the UTC mall as well as other locations.

I think that Igor at Timeless Treasures on Fay St. in La Jolla has one available at this very moment.

Another good place to go is the Jewelers Building on 6th Ave, near the Gaslamp. There are several dealers there, a couple of which have rather large selections of preowned Rolex, Patek, etc.

I just baught my first Rolex today.

Pre-owned certified by Tourneau piece, Submariner 14060M circa 2007, SS, Black, no date. Excellent condition. Bought from private seller and due to arrive on Friday, my Birthday :)

I can't express how excited I am :)

Do you folks remember the excitment when you got your first Rolex? I know you do :)

I used to live in the village so know Fay street quite well. Used to eat breakfast at 'The Cottage' on the w/ends :)

Also bought my wife's engagement diamond in the jewelry district downtown. never thought to check there for a Rolex. I am conditioned to do everything on line these days I guess :)

Thanks for the welcome Jonathan. I ended up sourcing my 10060M from a private seller who was clearing out some of his collection. I think I got a good to fair deal. Expecting to take delivery today. :)
